Our Gallery of Photographs of boats being built from plans purchased from us.
Comments and pictures from a customer who is apparently having a great time as a septuagenarian.
Thanks for the pictures, Mike, the boat looks great!

"These are some of the pictures of the Mallard I built from plans I got from you last year. It rows great. The boat is presently in Portland along with the smaller boat I designed and built this spring. Plans are to row the Mallard across the mouth of the Columbia on October 16th, on my 70th birthday. I still have a sliding-seat shell, but haven't been rowing in a lot of years. The Mallard is more my style now. In September, there is a 6-mile kayak race in the Columbia at the south end of this peninsula.
I will enter the Mallard as a fat kayak."         (Our publication # 5239 $7.95)

Here's a note from one of our many customers who have built the well known Barnegat Bay Sneakbox.
Super, Mark. Quite a job for your first boat!

"Here are some pictures of the construction and launching of the sneakbox I built according to plans in your publication of the history and construction of the Barnegat Bay Sneakbox (plywood version). Your company is an invaluable resource to the boat builder. 1 can't express enough how much I enjoyed building my first boat from these historical reproductions. The boat all but disappears in the marsh when hunting, and a small 3.5 hp outboard is ample power for getting to and from the blind."

Here's a guy who used to build violins so we are sure that the craftmanship in his new duck boat is of the finest.
You all look good to us, Dick, good work!

This is Pintail, a small and able, leakproof duck boat, light enough in weight (60 lbs.)

Our publication #5268 See it in our Small Craft listing under Hunting and Camping Boats.

Your publisher, DNG likes to spend his leisure time just like you. He builds boats!
Here are two that he designed and completed this summer. A trailerable little cruising canoe and a duckboat to build in a weekend.
Look for his documented plans soon.
